MEDICAL OUTREACH IN CAMBODIA

Ashley Wilkins

JMM Medical Outreach Coordinator

The Medical Outreach in Cambodia has been awesome! Joyce Meyer Ministries’ hospital in Pursat is such a blessing to the people of Cambodia. So far, we have seen over 3,000 medical and dental patients, all of them receiving free care. We have had over 2,300 people give their lives to the Lord—including two Monks! God has blessed this outreach in so many ways.

We have had some heavy winds and rain today that are the results of the typhoon, but no damage. We are working with many of the same translators we worked with during Hope Cambodia in 2007. It is cool to see what God has done for them in the last two years. Many are studying in school and some of them even want to be doctors. It is awesome!

Please pray for the people of Cambodia as this outreach comes to an end. There are so many needs here. But even after our teams leave, they will still be able to receive quality health care because of the hospital. What a blessing!
