Jock Bamford, saved from a life of alcohol addiction, one day put together twelve sandwiches and gave them away. Little did he know that some fourteen years later he would be running a ministry that would be giving thousands of dollars worth of food away each week. Jock, a partner with Joyce Meyer Ministries, conducts the Loaves and Fishes Streetmeet Care Service, feeding hundreds of people daily from the Loaves and Fishes main office in Kingston Australia, and two "Battlers Supermarkets” located in Kingston and Marsden, south of Brisbane. He also actively feeds people at different locations throughout Logan and Brisbane with the street outreach vans.

His fleet of trucks can be seen daily travelling between markets and food suppliers to his food assistance locations. He proudly displays on each vehicle the sign, "Hand of Hope, Joyce Meyer Ministries." We are proud to be partnered with such a great ministry as Loaves and Fishes, which is actually out in the street doing as Jesus would do.

Hand of Hope is the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Our goal is simply to help as many hurting people as we possibly can, to alleviate human suffering and to help Christians grow in their faith.
