Liberated in Lesotho

Brad Senekal – Outreach Director, Joyce Meyer Ministries South Africa

We recently had the opportunity to meet two beautiful young women who were rescued from the horrors of human trafficking by the Beautiful Dream Society safe house in Lesotho. We have the honor and privilege of supporting this amazing organization as they help women who were once trapped in human trafficking. These two young women have had a few challenges since being rescued as neither of them speaks the native language of Lesotho. The good news is that not only have we been able to rescue them from a life of trafficking, we have also been able to share the word of God with them through Joyce's books translated into their native languages of Amharic and Chinese as well as through Joyce's TV programs, which are also available in Amharic and Chinese on tv.joycemeyer.org.

As they each were given time at the computer at the safe house to watch Joyce's teachings in their own languages – for the first time since being trafficked in Lesotho, they were overcome with joy. They did not want their computer time to end! They laughed, smiled and continued talking about Joyce's teachings and how excited they were long after the programs were over. Not only have they been set free physically, but they are being set free spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Never underestimate the power of reaching someone with the love of Christ in their own language. It is the support of our partners that make all this possible – thank you!

Joyce's Enjoying Everyday Life program is available in 39 different languages at tv.joycemeyer.org.
